Safety Component for Passenger Cars

To manufacture a safety component for the Dacia automobile, it was necessary to create a complex multi-operational workflow.

The part is produced through a sequence of three operational processes:

  1. Assembly of the washer and threading of the shaft.
  2. Surface coating through a series of chemical operations: degreasing, washing, conditioning, blackening, washing, oiling.
  3. Overmolding polyamide onto the metal part.

All of this is done to meet the mechanical requirements imposed by safety standards.

The injection molding machine required for producing this part is a 100 tf vertical press, adapted to the type of component being manufactured.
